To help shape our future, we are looking to broaden the skills, perspectives, and lived experiences on our Board of Trustees. If you are passionate about improving the lives of young people and want to play a meaningful role in guiding a long-established, community-rooted charity, we would love to hear from you.
We would particularly welcome trustees with experience or expertise in:
– Education, social care, or the youth sector
– Specialists in SEND and Disabilities
– Public sector services, including health or community services
We are also keen to hear from young people and individuals from diverse backgrounds. At HAY, we believe our board should reflect the communities we serve, and every perspective around the table makes us stronger.
Our board meets four times a year, with additional sub-committee meetings. We have a mixture of online and in person meetings. Full support and induction will be provided, and no previous trustee experience is necessary, just a genuine commitment to our mission and the young people and families of Hounslow.
