Empowering Young Entrepreneurs Since 2021
Launched in 2021, the Youth Enterprise Project is an ASDAN-accredited programme that supports young people to create, develop, and launch their own businesses. Working in partnership with Ultra Education, we deliver structured business sessions covering everything from entrepreneurial mindset and the foundations of starting a business, to digital technology, customer research, marketing, finances, and the skills needed to become a confident entrepreneur. 
At the end of the programme, young people launch their businesses, gain their ASDAN accreditation, and keep every penny of the proceeds to reinvest and grow what they have built.
How the Project Has Grown
The project has gone from strength to strength, shaped every year by feedback from the young people themselves. It remains in high demand, with partners across Hounslow regularly requesting new groups.
As the project has grown, so too have its opportunities; graduates can now return as peer mentors, supporting new participants on their entrepreneurial journeys and earning a peer mentoring accreditation along the way.
Who We Support
Over the years we have successfully delivered the project to:
- Young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET)
- Looked after young people
- Care leavers
- Young people experiencing mental health difficulties
- Those at risk of school exclusion
- Young people with SEND
- Those in alternative provision settings
- Young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds
Project Outcomes
Some of the outcomes evidenced include:
✔ NEET young people moving into employment, education, or training following the project
✔ Reduced behaviour difficulties in school for young people at risk of exclusion
✔ Young people reporting increased confidence and self-worth
✔ Young people pursuing further education upon completion of the project
✔ Schools reporting a positive impact on the wider school community
✔ Parents and teachers confirming meaningful changes in their child’s engagement with education
✔ Young people considering business and entrepreneurship as a career pathway
✔ Young people returning as Peer Mentors to support the next cohort
