About Us

Welcome to the Hounslow Action for Youth (HAY)!

HAY is a vibrant, bustling and supportive youth and community charity in the heart of the London Borough of Hounslow. Our mission is to create opportunities where children and young people have fun, learn new skills and make great friends.

Who takes part in HAY activities?

Young people living in Hounslow, aged between 7 and 18, come along to take part in a big range of fun activities.

The projects and clubs on offer are specially designed to meet the different needs of young people in the area, some of whom face big challenges in their lives. At our projects, they feel safe and gain new skills whilst having a great time. Crucially, they also get the support they need to grow into confident, capable adults who can reach their full potential.

The HAY also plays host and works in partnership with other services and charities which want to help the local and wider community.

There’s always lots happening at HAY.

How do I take part in activities or clubs at HAY?

Simply complete a form to sign up and become a member of the club or project that is for your age. Then start coming along regularly to our activities. Everyone in our projects will be very happy to see you.

By becoming a member, you will be able to access a long list of benefits:

  1. Go on trips and residentials as well as taking part in new activities and adventures;
  2. Meet all kinds of warm and welcoming new people.
  3. Learn to grow plants, make honey or to dance and sing and much more.
  4. Learn cookery or computing skills.
  5. Get help to find a job or receive training in an area of work that interests you.

Whatever it is you’re looking for, the staff and volunteers at the HAY will be ready and willing to help you find it.

So, if you want to try something new, make new friends or speak to someone for help and guidance, come along to one of our projects.
